About Me
Dr. Liu has been in the oil and gas industry for 12 years, including experiences in oil and gas exploration and development major, with particular focus on Complex natural gas reservoir development and shale gas field development planning.
Dr. Liu has bachelor and master of science degrees in Geoscience with a focus on Mineralogy, Petrology, and Mineral Deposit Geology from Northwest University(China). And a Ph.D. in engineering specializing in Mineral Resource Prospecting and Exploration from Research Institute of Petroleum Exploration and Development.
Dr. Berry has been in the education industry for 10 years, including multiple leadership roles, creating employee development programs, and leading professional development.
Dr. Berry has a bachelor's degree in interdisciplinary studies from the University of Texas at San Anation, a master's degree in educational leadership, and a doctoral degree in ethical leadership from the Univesity of St. Thomas-Houston.
Scott Earnest
Scott has 30+ years in the energy trading industry in a variety of roles and across multiple energy companies. He has served as a controller for the crude and products division of an international energy trading company. As a consultant, Scott is known as a subject matter expert in trading and compliance controls processes and procedures.
For 10 years Scott served as the Chief Compliance Officer of Shell Trading Risk Management, Shell’s registered swap dealer. In this role Scott was responsible for establishing and maintain the Compliance Program in accordance with applicable laws, rules and regulations that governed swap trading activity. A key accountability for his role was an annual attestation, to regulators, of Shell’s compliance with all regulatory requirements and expectations.
